Data-Enhanced Trajectory Based Operations Workshop

DART and datAcron projects are organising a workshop alongside the International Conference for Research in Air Transportation (ICRAT) 2018 to be held in Barcelona (http://www.icrat.org/icrat/upcoming-conference/).

When: Monday June 25th 2018

Where: Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya – Barcelona Tech (Esteve Terradas, 5, 08860, Castelldefels, Catalonia – Spain )

Title: Data-Enhanced Trajectory Based Operations

Outline:
How will data support the envisioned enhanced ATM capabilities in future TBO environment? What data will be required? How do data need to be managed to become really useful? What are the most promising techniques according to the current and future ATM requirements?

These questions are extensively addressed by the projects datACRON (Big Data Analytics for Time Critical Mobility Forecasting) and DART (Data-Driven Aircraft Trajectory Prediction Research), EU H2020 funded research projects that explore the applicability of state-of-the-art applications and most modern data analytics techniques and methodologies into the ATM domain.

If you are interested in knowing what leading-edge technologies are being applied to different ATM use cases and the results obtained, please join us in the workshop collocated to the ICRAT conference that will be held in Barcelona on June 25 2018.

The main topics discussed during the workshop will include:
• ATM Data management
• Data-Driven Trajectory Prediction
• Agent-Based Modelling of the ATM system
• Data-driven predictions for flow management
• Complex Event recognition & forecasting for ATM
• Visual Analytics for ATM

The final agenda of the workshop, including the list of presenters and outlines of the talks, will be included herein in the following weeks. Please check regularly this link to keep aware about any update on this.

The registration and access to this event is free, although it would be appreciated if you could confirm your attendance in advance (by an email to David.Scarlatti@boeing.com) for arranging the logistics accordingly to the expected number of attendees.
